We get stressed when we don’t like the gap between what we pictured and what it actually is. On a trivial level, I feel stressed when I see myself not being able to wake up in the morning, or when my partner does not live up to what I want in human relationships.

Our growth comes from narrowing the gap between ideals and reality. The reason I am able to do things I couldn’t before is because I constantly tried to make my thoughts come true in reality. But sometimes you just have to accept reality. Like Joy (zoey)’s [NE MAEUM].

[NE MAEUM] is a story about a person who accepts this fall. It appears to be a story about a lover, but in the end, it centers on the internal conflict of a person who finds himself in a situation he doesn’t like.

Overall, I got the impression that the album production was simple. In particular, it is impressive that in track 6, “MICHINGEONI,” the same bass riff dominates the entire song for 2 minutes and 39 seconds, bringing about a change in mood just by coming in and out of one or two instruments. Thanks to this, it’s not burdensome to play the entire album multiple times.

If you’re feeling very stressed today, Try listening to zoey’s [NE MAEUM]. It’s comforting to know that there are people like me.
