개다 (최승인)

Since late 2015 he has documented Korean R&B and soul — gathering scattered albums and interviews, and drawing lines between names that look disconnected. Along the way he came to think that Korean R&B, fusion jazz, and ballad are really just different names for the same river.

He has written for Genie, Hiphople, VIBE, Bugs, Melon, and Jazzpeople, and serves on the selection committees of the Korean Hip-hop Awards and the Korean Music Awards, covering the rap/hip-hop, R&B/soul, and jazz categories. As a radio and podcast writer he has taken part in 〈NUGS Radio〉, 〈Rap House On Air〉, and KBS Cool FM's 〈Radio Station Z〉, and he hosts the listening-session series 'Birdie's Tasty' at TW Records.

NUGS MAG is the place he built so that this record-keeping would not have to be done alone.

West Castle

He started out as a marketer, but for various reasons he left after just a year. Out of work and looking for something to do, he joined HAUS OF MATTERS, and at Gedative's invitation he became an editor at NUGS MAG.

At NUGS MAG he does everything except the things he can't. His main work is Instagram content design, playlist curation and comment writing, review writing, and running the Instagram account.

He runs the YouTube channel West Castle, which he made because he needed a channel where he alone is responsible for everything he says. He ran it by himself, but Gedative has since joined him on the podcast.

As a rule, he won't strike up a conversation with someone who looks busy.
