Do you like remix tracks? I tend to like remixed tracks. It’s fun to find new context in a song, and it can also be an outlet for digging into good producers. Officially released remix albums sometimes reveal the tastes of the original artist, providing a window into a deeper understanding of the album.
Sumin and Slom’s mini-series remix album, which was announced in episode 10 of Even the Soul, has been released. R&B artist Devin Morrison, producer Fisherman, and jazz, funk, and hip-hop producer Telemakus participated. It consists of a total of 5 tracks, including tracks where Sumin and Slom directly remixed their own songs. If you compare the remixer’s music with the remixed track and hear how the original song and the producer’s colors are mixed, you will be able to enjoy it more.
